I got there pretty early so I could get in some laps on Lucky Shot before the last steep place got trashed. Three nice ones before I wandered off to other environs. When I came back an hour or so later it was toast, big bumps, lots of slush and a bunch of bare spots. Forest Queen skied nice early but about 1:30 or maybe slightly earlier the flats got sticky. Chappelle run was one and done because of bare ground, rocks and puckerbrush. Snorting Elk bowl skied OK but you had to watch out for scraped out spots. The rest of Snorting Elk was fun. The main run down Green Valley skied well. Some of the really shady spots never softened up. There were several people skiing Grub Stake in the afternoon but by that time my legs were too trashed for me to go there. Green valley had a big line midday but after I took my lunch break it went down to nothing. Forest Queen and Rex did not have bad lines. It turned into a beautiful sunny day. I dug out the Hawaiian shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses. B and C lots were full as were D and E. Some folks were parked in the employee housing lot. Well that's it, I'm done for the year.
