Ski Report - Short version, Crystal is still doing a good
job of grooming what they have...snow is melting fast but
we didn't notice any sticky snow problems. LS lower pitch
is getting less wide each day. Rocks are out but not to bad.
Valley has lots of snow and good skiing as does FQex runs
that I skied today. Twas kinda cool early but warmed up fast.

More Words - Ultra light crowd to start the day and actually
an ultra light crowd still when we left. In some ways Slow Sliver
slope has the best grooming and coverage...but you need to be
able to ride a running Slow Silver chair...not today.  Big Blue
Bird sky again today with views from Hood to Baker and the
Olympics.  Had some fun runs way out north...well a couple
or runs in GV. #1 skied strong but pretty much died when I
finally hooked up with her. Slush was deep on LS my last
run down it and it was getting very warm.  Fun day!

Other - CB lodge was locked up till we skied to the base and
made a comment at Guest services and probably had no food
anyway.  #1 had something at the base...I just kept eating
Easter Eggs.

Other Other - Special folks lot looked kinda full, rest of
A lot was pushing close to a 1/5th full, B and C folks did
not show up much today.  Drive up and down mostly pleasant
with a few Elk noticed way off the road.

We arrived purposely late and got on CHEX at 9:15. Lucky Shot was soft from the start, but the last face is really narrow and the snow very thin. I don't think it's going to last the week-end, and then that will be it for REX. GV bumps and Grubstake didn't soften until 11, but Blazing Elk hadn't been groomed since Monday and was big corn snow moguls top to bottom. The kind you can blast through. Skied that most of the morning and was really the only one as people would ski up and look at it, then pass. after a run down a softened valley and another down Grubber, headed over to FQ to meet up with LD. Skied several runs there until the flats started to get grippy. Then we left. For the season. Hope everyone has a great summer.
