Ski Report - Got first icy tracks in a few places and first sweet smooth carving turns...
Again a pretty limited view of Crystal...Many LS runs via the front side, one GV Bowl
centerish...was okay, a hour or so must have made it prime! Then for my big adventure
I did MIFB! Soft enough but my bump legs were not up for the weird massive bumps...and
a few holes and rocks and....? Went over to FQex to walk thru the empty worthless
CB lodge...not even any grab and go. Did Downhill to Rolling Knowl over to Slow Silver...
Slow actually had some nice just right snow for carving...and Disco flats were not
sticky when I passed thru. Nobody on the mountain...season is definitely over for the
mass of humans. Hope it will not be to warm the next week or so...there is still
good snow and grooming on the mountain. Nice to get a warm spring day that allowed
for Hawaii Shirt, Baseball cap, Sun glasses and Baseball gloves!  Heaven!

Other - As noted CB lodge is a dead zone...Fish Shack dead till Friday and the
quality food at the Base was incredibly not very enticing. Had to easter eggs I
colored yesterday...tasted great.

Other Other - Drove up typically early and it was a very nice lonely drive.
When I left the Special folks area and the rest of the A lot had cars just
a row or so past the Alpine Inn bridge! Have you heard that the Alpine is
gonna be closing and may not be what it has been... B lot and C lot
had some cars pushing way past 1/4...Drive down was almost as pleasant as
this morning!

Now for the rest of the report. Snorting Elk bowl and Grubstake (after 10am) over and over, and over again. Around noon, the flats in GV got sticky. Headed over to FQ to meet up with LD and Queen's Run was very sticky, Downhill better. Left on the early side after having an awesome spring day.
