Top to bottom powder skiing through the trees is back on the menu! Arrived 8:30 am, long gondy line so up Chinook/Rex only to find ourselves in a foggy cloud. So ski via braille via LS and Snort, then over to FQ and into our tree stashes where the 8-10 of new was just sitting there. Very nice trees as well as very nice grooming (mostly) and we skied trees, drainages, the E-Creek environs. C4 was spinning which is very strange for a Thursday. For lunch we enjoyed our brown bag inside Campbell next to the no brown bag sign which was next to the no food sign. Not sure how a major ski resort gets away with keeping their only cafeteria closed, but it is what it is. Very easy turns (1,138 of them to be exact). Southback opened around 1:30pm and the reports were very good if your skis survived the traverse. Folks were pretty happy and the lots were barely 25% full. GH20 Elk just sitting around on 410 at the cheese. Last day of winter conditions?
