Ski Report - Fun cold blue bird day, nice normally (in the past) small
early crowd, but it blew up during the 10am rush hour. #1 headed to FQex
for some quiet early morning runs, I did repeats on LS via the front side
cat track...cat track had 3+ inches of quality cold smoke snow for fun
carving. I was to wimpy to drop into GV Bowl untracked but by my last
time up Rex it was totally shredded as was PB, Sunnyside and lots of
areas in Campbell Basin. Had some nice runs on FQex during the mid
morning rush hour with #1 and it was getting busy by then. Groomers were good
but by my last run down LS the bottom pitch was turning into big
mush piles.  It would be nice if someone like Binx would post some
info about all the wild places he went today.  The 3 to 4 (or more in
places was very nice, the warm spring sun will solve that problem.

Other - Passed through CB lodge and it appears that warm food on
weekdays might be done for the season.  Passed through the food
cafeteria at the base as we left...pizza did not look good...but
#1 had a gut bugger and fries (fries are tasty) while she waited
for me to finish skiing.

Other Other - Special folks showed up in force today to fill their
parking area, rest of A lot was pushing way past 1/2 full, B had
crappy parking rows filling 2/3 of the lot and I seem to remember
that C was packed...didn't notice much for the rest of the lots...
Just the sad situation of another person getting a helicopter ride
out of the F lot...seen that a lot this season.  Drive up nice
and early at speed with a few random elk noticed, drive down was
very pleasant till the low lands....410 was very white and slippery
for some folks from Camp Shepard all the way up the Blvd! Next post
from me will be from Whistler.  Have fun everyone!
