Ski Report - Nice day for #1's second time in a while skiing...Headed
over to FQex for some Queens runs...nice upper 2/3's bottom 1/3 was a
little more frozen corduroy, okay but.  Managed to stay warm till #1
decided on breaktime...Got two mid morning runs down LS that were very
pleasant for left over grooming...big sun blew in long enough to see some
really nice turns in PB! Noticed the same on the Throne. Made my "new" old
person minimum to count it as a day of skiing in a very weird season...
big rumors for next week. Had some fuzzy vis and mostly very nice vis
with nice sun shining on the King.  Twas a fun morning, short but
good for #1 and future plans.

Other - Meet #1 in CB lodge where she was enjoying a Burger.  I went
up an got the daily special which was some weird mixture, but it was and
still is tasty.  CB lodge pizza crew is doing an awesome job this
season.

Other Other - Drove up typically to early, nice drive, only some Elk
entering Fed Forest and one Elk trying to use the side walk on the
bridge in Greenwater! Special folks parking looked okay, rest of A
was massively pushing halfish? B had badly parked rows passed the
Bucket station, C had cars but not many 4 packs. Drive down was
very pleasant till the lowlands mess was encountered.

Other Other Other - Looking forward to some nice posts from BB and CD!

Mostly sunny today with occasional wispy fog blowing through. The weather was a nice surprise. GV had 5 - 6" of new, good quality snow sitting on top of firm moguls. Read the snow right and it skied good. Ann's run unfortunately had frozen clumps under the new snow, so it was one and done. Grubstake was unconsolidated snow on top of big frozen bumps and was also one and done. The coverage is much better than Monday and even the third face of Lucky Shot remained covered today. And, Gandy's is once again groomed wall-to-wall. Mostly did figure-8s so we could get back and ski the valley bowl. It was starting to set up a little bit on our last run down. JD went into the bottom lodge and got a piece of pepperoni pizza he said was most excellent.
