Ski Report - Looked nice when we arrived but by lift loading
the low clouds blew in enough to make vis a little fuzzy. Snow
quality was heat effected from yesterday, but was still very
nice on the slopes we skied (and one run down LS for me). Did
my be nice to #1 thing and skied multiple Queens runs..kinda
firm early, but got softer as the top layer got scraped off.
Didn't notice any rocks of significance...what a few days of
new snow will do. Crowd and downhill racers showed up
during the typical 10am rush hour which made life more
painful. Since it was #1's first day in over a month we
had an ultra short day (and cause my quads hurt from
yesterday). The other runs on FQex also skied very happy.
Other - No pizza report from CB lodge today since we left
kinda ultra early even for wimpy me.
Other Other - Typical to early drive up, but since #1 was
along for the ride we saw more elk butts this morning than
I've seen all year...Greenwater herd was out in force this
morning and were slow crossing the road. Special folks
lot was not as crammed as yesterday, rest of A lot was
pushing past half full, B and C both had fill the lots
parking, but maybe only 3/4 full if someone knew how
to part cars. Drive down was at speed and happy. Fun
day all in all especially with #1 finally back skiing!
