Ski Report - Big Blue sky, fairly coldish and some winds. Big quality
improvement on the two runs I did today...LS and 1 run down Queens to
Slow Silver for #1. LS is way better, except for mid morning when the
downhill racers finally showed up...ouch! Looked like MIFB might have
been opened up...lots of tracks in it...but then most of the Sunnyside
to M World was pretty cut up. Noticed a few folks skiing PB which got
hammered yesterday...kinda looked good. Fair sized early CHex lineup this
morning. Thought about a run in the Valley, but GVex looked pretty loaded
up when I remembered to look at it. Started to get a little foggy clouds
moving in around 10:30 which made me head to FQex for a CB lodge check.
Sadly a limited report in my limited season...only skied groomers again
today...maybe some off piste tomorrow!
Other - As noted did my duty and checked the pizza situation at CB
lodge...got me to get a Pepperoni since CD said it was good and yes
I'll finish it off this evening..is good. Lodge was filling up when
I left. Passed thru the base area...didn't notice much...
Other Other - Drove up ultra early as usual and noticed one Elk before
Fed Forest. Nice light traffic. When I left the Special folks lot was
way over packed...had a special person parked behind me, rest of A lot
was pushing 3/4, B was trying to be full of badly parked rows as was
C lot (amazing how many 4 person car pools there are). Drive down
mostly pleasant.
