Crystal - 01/09 Ouch Big Fun

Ski Report - Big Fun, I didn't do anything big. But...big great sunny vis, great quality snow on
the little off piste I did (GV Bowl), good quality groomers (mainly LS and one not so great MIFB).
Big early crowd...but reasonable...Got 1st CHex chair and 1st Rex ride...big views, big fun, big 
carving on the EXP's (I really like those old beaters). Fun day, a little more vert and muscle work
out every time I go. Finished with a run for #1 down Queens to Snowgarden to Slow Silver...very pleasant
run to the base.

Other - Wore out my legs kinda early, popped over to FQex (sadly during the 10:15 rush), went into
CB lodge and "freaked" when I saw the pizza special!  Barby Chicken and onion pizza! Gotta say for
the price and size its a good deal this year...and the crust dose not taste like cardboard!
Nice long social with folks and CD's #1. 

Other Other - Drove up closer to normal time...stuck in the middle of a 6 car pack...twas okay. Special
folks lot full, A lot full, B lot full, C lot full, D lot full , G lot upper and lower looked pretty full, E lot full, H lot
halfish full! OUCH!....does no one work these days?

Drive down even earlier than the new normal...and it was incredible till I hit the gravel pit 
outside of the Claw...Big fun for me, #1 should have gone today...didnt notice Binx? 

Didn't make it out to NW, but C6 was very nice. Except the traverse over to the Campbell Basin side. Very rocky and big bumps. Powder Bowl skied a lot better than Wednesday. Go Figure. The new bottom lodge is dumb. Completely full at 1pm, with no chairs available. As I walked through, there is so much wasted space the way it is set up. I could easily get them another 5 - 10 tables with a little reorganization. However, it's nice they open at 7am this year, so I have a warm place to put on my boots. Overall, a very nice day in the sun.

It is forgotten that the new lodge was designed to have one more story.
