Ski Report - Partly sunny to start the day, no real rush since the CHex line was gone in
a couple of minutes. Only skied LS off the great new Rex (quiet and fast). Couple of runs in
the Valley (Little Pro Course to Bills and one on main groomer).  LS was skiable but not
great.  Since it was "finally" my opening day it was pretty short.  Lots of snow making on
the lower mountain. Did one run down Queens to Snowgarden to Slow Silver slop for #1 (who was
at home very sick...sad). Coverage is thin and the big hopeful dump over the rest of the week
will hide lots of things. Was getting grey as I left.

Other - Did pause in CB lodge to see what's new (and warm up). Rumors of possibly better pizza
crust this year...fries were different and okay.

Other Other - Special folks' lot was big and not full, rest of A was pushing 1/4, B and C had a
fair number of cars and that was about it.  Lots of traffic heading up as I left. Twas very
dark this morning with only a few elk noticed, drive down was very pleasant.  Glad to finally
get my first ski day of the season!
