Ski Report - Very nice start to the day, no lift line on CHex, no
lift line anywhere today. Limited grooming up top with the massive
banked slalom course taking up everything just pasted Big Pro all the
way down Bills Face area...Had to ski Upper Ferks to get to MIFB and
West Face areas. Skied a number of LS to Gandys early and finally did
a run down MIFB...doable but a work out..for worn out bump knees. #1
started over on FQex and apparently had a good time...other than access
to CB lodge restrooms. By the time we hooked up some of the sunny slopes
were getting challenging for her (and me). Went over and did Queens
around 11 and it was skiing nicely. She quit and I headed back up to
do a few more quad busters...MIFB/LS/Sunnyside?....and Sunnyside
pretty much blew the rest of my quads...skied nice top half, but bottom
half was big bumps in the skiable areas and there was a lot of not
skiable areas all across the front side from the Doors to M-World...
Bailed out at noon...A lot of brown areas showing....still better than
last season...but its melting.
Other - Checked out the base food court when we left, got suckered into
buying a special pizza...pretty cold and cardboardy...ate the last of it
when we got home...haven't gotten sick yet...yee haa.
Other Other - Special folks lot had some cars, rest of A was pushing 1/3,
B and C were parked up to and around their Honey Bucket stations. Drove up
later than normal but still way to early...no more indoor seating and it
was a little breezy at the base outside....only noticed a few elk at the
Fed Forest start this morning...second time this season in that spot...drive was pleasant.
Drive down was almost record settingly pleasant...took the scenic route home
and we got lucky all the way...think I should buy a lotto tix. Big fun
morning. Only one more Friday at Xtal...Think Bachelor is calling soon...
