Ski Report - Another really big sunny blue bird day, since
the season is mostly over the early lift line for CHex was empty
after the first 5 chairs. Felt warmer with less wind today. More
grooming up top (Big Pro Course). LS was ultra soft from the start
today with many untracked repeats on Gandy's. Hooked up with #1
earlier than normal and had a good time heading way out north...to
Huckleberry! And runs in the Valley plus LS. I didn't do anything
remotely big today and it was still fun. Dressed lighter but still
did not get hot enough to let the Hawaii shirt out...till our last
run down Queens to the base. Didn't notice any sticky snow today?
Other - No food on the mountain for us...grab and go at CB lodge is
a total joke. When we left around noon the special folk's lot had more
cars then yesterday, rest of A lot was still pretty empty, B had single
rows to the Honey Bucket station and C had a fair number of cars. Drive
up early was pleasant and quiet, very few elk noticed today. Drive down
was mostly pleasant and fast....took the scenic route from the Claw home
to avoid the road construction. Last Tuesday of the season was a really
good one!
