Ski Report - Ultra, Ultra, Ultra light crowd, had to make
effort to ride a lift with someone! Well on REX anyway. Warmish
to start the morning, very windy up top, filtered sun most of
the time. Very soft almost everywhere early. Did my Hamster
routine today, started on LS very nice, then MIFB!...not totally
perfect on the grooming, but it was good enough and with great
vis it was prime...spent the rest of the morning alternating
but many more MIFB runs. Started getting sticky in the flats
around 11 or so. Got us off the mountain by noon.
Other - No food at CB lodge, I spent 5 minutes in there before
heading back out for more MIFB runs. #1 rested and then survived
skiing to the base.
Other Other - Special folks lot was almost empty, rest of A had
just a few rows, B only had a couple of rows and C folks were
parked around the shuttle stop. Drive up was early and quiet with
very few Elk spotted, drive down was similar with no Elk noticed.
We both had a fun time...a whole lot better than Tuesday.
