There was about 10 inches of new snow up high with about 3 inches pass level. There was limited grooming on Jupiter and Tye. Only the top part of Jupiter was groomed , but it did ski better once a path was packed out in the middle of the run. On Tye, the right hand run was not groomed, and on Hogs, Blue Trail was not groomed. The ungroomed runs were challenging. The snow was a bit too thick to blow through the piles as they threw your skis around and the snow was a bit chunky. Totally off piste stuff was just point them, ski big arcs and hang on, or try to make shorter turns and get thrown around. We did very little of that. On the good side it was a beautiful day. New snow on the trees, a few puffy clouds going by and very comfortable temperatures.
