Crystal - 03/21 Ouch Big Crowd

Ski Report - Some quantity of new snow? At least the 4" range in lots
of places, early morning good vis...but I started noticing "old" eyes or
flattish light late morning. Cause of wimpy old age legs I didn't do
anything like real skiing...LS and the Valley groomers and MIFB and if
the lineup at REX looked to big I headed over to early morning empty
FQex for a really big back and forth ski day. Great groomer skiing for
my wimpy body, Coombas suffered me and seemed mostly happy carving non
deep powder turns. Crowd was Saturday big early for first CHex ride and
the folks kept arriving all morning right thru the typical 10:30 rush
hour. Noticed a massive (for me) lineup to ride CH6! and it was busy while I was
around the area. Started snowing and fogging up around 11ish...snowing
hard when I wimped out around noonish...and it twas wettish at the base.

Other - Paused at CB lodge a little too early for the special pizza...and
as usual it's not worth mentioning the soup of the day...but when the
special pizza finally became available...got a slice and still have
part of it for dinner appetizer. I might try to add a pic today of food!


Other Other - Special folks parking was packed as usual, the new normal? Rest
of A was almost completely full as was B and C and G? and D and E and part
of H? Ouch oh me! Drive up ultra early (and not early enough) was mostly
pleasant, drive home was great till the gravel pit at the Claw...and then it
was mostly hell all the way home...longest drive in a very long time.
Otherwise, a nice day on the slopes, body hurts more than yesterday and I
did not ski yesterday, but I heard a lot of "great" best of the ?... or at
least the crowd size.
