Ski Report - Expected marginal conditions, but it was even worse than expected. Didn't expect much grooming and
there was even less than that....Went up REX first and last runs of my ultra short morning and did LS to CS (Chicken Shot)
both times...but the last one at 10:30 was in a "real" snowstorm. Total lack of participation by the "smarter" folks
out there. Best continuous groomed run (it was impossible to ski off piste for me today) was Queens to the base...other runs
off of FQex were nice till the grooming randomly stopped...ouch! Everything on the mountain is locked up solid and with the
cold temps and winds it might be tough to find skiable areas...but the hardcores will "know" where to go! Quit ultra early
cause of other issues later in this post. Xtal did not lose much snow in this last wet event...almost looks better than
last Friday. If the snow keeps falling and the mass of $62'ers show up tomorrow...glad I have other things to do.
Other - Other than early morning in the Rafters, didn't go inside to check out food issues. When I left the Special folks
lot had a row or so...Rest of A lot had a row or two....B and C? pretty empty. Drive up ultra early pleasant...only had
one other car in the Ranch area...and he was breaking and freaking out when I caught up with him at 50mph. Drive down was
even better and lonelier.
Other Bonus - As I was driving up the blvd this morning I noticed an error msg on my outside temp gauge? Dang, glanced at
my center heat and air panel...Ouch! Blown fuse! Twas a cool drive home...lookin forward to my next DIY project.
