Ski Report - Mostly nice ultra light early crowd...never stood in a lift line this morning after first load...great quality conditions on the little I skied....LS, Big Pro Course to MIFB...and repeat and repeat till I finally did a few runs down GV Bowl! to MIFB...First day out since last Thursday at Blackcomb and my legs told me so. Coverage is awesome. Vis was great today with distant views. Temps were the best I have enjoyed in a while. Fun morning to finally get the EXP's out on the snow again. After one ride up FQex, did Queens to Snowgarden to SlowSilver for #1 - it all was very nice and pleasant with still left-over untracked cord.
Other - Short day as usual and my wimpy quads are telling me about it. Passed through CB lodge at the end of my morning just cause...nothing new happening. Food for me was a breakfast burrito from Safeway...tasted mostly okay....don't feel sick yet?
Other Other - Special folks lot was not full when I left...rest of A lot was pushing halfish? B and C were pretty full of cars with some overflow into D...so there were a few folks on the mountain today...besides all the youthful young hucksters that were all out on the King today...surprisingly unusually nice conditions for a comp at Xtal. Drive up since it was a holiday Friday ultra early and ultra-fast with a few typical stupid's...drive down ultra early was very pleasant.
Other Other Other - Had my most stupid mess up loading FQex on my one load there...chair stops just as I slide into the gates....duh...standing a little too far into the gate...gate closes...pushed me back unprepared...fell back on my left buttox! (Forest Gump) Ouch! Bigger ouch was I could not get up off the snow...OUCH! Lucky most folks around didn't know me...especially no Binx... that would have made it even more painful. Had flu messing me up since Sunday...dang Canuks...or someone...still not 100%.
