Roads were clear and traffic was very light after going through the 'Claw at 7. Very light traffic driving down leaving the lot at 1. Slopes were more crowded today, but no lift lines. Heard they had 93 kids registered for the Free Ride comp. It was much colder than expected and had to add a layer before heading out. Light was very flat all day from the overcast skies except for the briefest of sun breaks. Also had some occasional fog rolling across the mountain in various places. The groomers were firm and off-piste variable. GV right, Door 4, and Brooklyns held fun snow. Everything else kinda weird heavy or set-up stuff. Where's ddk?

arrived at 1pm to start our shift. Thought I saw ddk's tan truck driving down near greenwater around 12:30. Vis improved during our session and upper mtn had good skiing in areas. Last run down gondi line was lightly tracked with good snow, until it became thick mank down the last pitch of E. Memorial and breakover held nice snow and not many tracks. Some nice stuff on the tree side of GV lift.
