Lot's going on at Crystal today. Many schools are out for the week and the junior Freeride competition was underway. The bottom lodge was actually open this morning, but only if you were in the competition. At lunch, Campbell Basin was actually cooking fresh food instead of the premade crap sitting under the heat lamps. LD got good minestrone soup, JD got a piece of pizza, and our son (good to ski with him today) got a burger and fries. All reported it was good. Too bad that's no longer the norm for Crystal food service. Meanwhile, I stayed out and skied. In spite of the festivities, never had a lift line. Weather was off and on sun all day and temperatures were very pleasant all day. Northway, GV, Doors, Powder Bowl, Brooklyn's, and Dysentery all very fun with a small refresh on top of all the moguls. A fun day.
