Vis never really improved and it was sort of cold but no wind made it feel ok at the top. Mountain was clearly worked by the weekend hoards in many places and the "burnt toast" layer was evident in many places that had traffic, if you could see it before you hit it. Run right of the doors was good if you picked your way, Same for big shot, and the trees below it held some nice powder. Left angle had lots of weekend skier traffic and finding untracked lines difficult. Lower left & right angle areas were closed but looked great from the catch line, until you saw the meager coverage taking the I5 trail back from EH.. barely a foot of base looking back up -- good choice by crystal to close until more snow. Lower E was quite scratchy. Best run was above niagaras upper bomb tram diagonally across and down, eventually connecting to EH and back to lower niagaras to get more untracked stuff. Had concerns about rock coverage in the throat of niagaras so skirted that section and skied adjacent to EH. Gondy line last run was very good with more untracked stuff. Did lower bull to the old chair-1 line to the bottom, which needed serious pruning to connect otherwise nice untracked sections. Expecting better skiing when visibility improves in coming days
