Crystal 2/5 Decent until the vis disappeared

The new snow did help but we need a lot more. The icy stuff is still present most everywhere. We were not very adventurous today: gondy, Rex, GV chairs. Range was only Snort Elk to Big Shot. Lower E sucked big time. GV was the most consistent nice snow. Had a good run on Grubber with vis, bad without. GV chair line was fun but too short. Mr Toads was in surprising good shape. Best snow of the day was in the trees at the bottom of Big Shot. Observed a small handful of guinea pigs on PB, mostly traversing the hill and a couple on the front side doing the same. Temps were cold. OK when calm but any wind had quite a bite. High speed runs were possible but avoided because of the cold. Visibility left for good at 11am and we only lasted a little bit after that. No lift lines to speak of. A, B, C lots sort of full.
