Stevens 2/3 New Snow Helped

I expected it to be colder but it wasn't bad, maybe low 20s. The weekend hordes pretty well beat the mountain into submission however there was still a lot of loose fluff around and some softish bumps. What governed our day was the visibility. There were areas where the light was really flat and you couldn't see the snow structure and then there were other areas, especially close to the trees, were things were much better. The morning was better than the afternoon. There were some areas where that 20 inches of new snow they received is already scraped off, then there are other areas where it is now skiable because the puckerbrush is buried. All in all it was a much better day. It was very nice to get off the groomers
