Crystal - 02/03 Brutally Nice Cold Smoke and Temps

Ski Report - Yee Haa? hhhmmmm...I must be getting "very" old...Twas incredibly brutally cold and ultra nice snow with the Hard-Core Crystal Skiers (HCCS) in full early participation! Even James from Big Sky! Snow? Awesome. Frenzy? Awesome. Brutal cold up top? Awesome...and my skinny semi fat free body felt the cold. Big winds up top early. Awesome! Crowd early okay. Crowd late? Sadly, didn't get close to pushing late today. Folks where skiing pretty much everywhere I could see....Hourglass on the King, everywhere off the Queen, not so much frontside of REX with the hard frozen under the new ultra-light Utah powder! Skied a run for #1 on FQex and as I left CB lodge back to REX....Power on the mountain went out! Lucky me I was standing waiting to load REX....Power finally came back on diesel as I bailed out way to early....and I was still a pretty old man frozen.

Other - Wasted warm up time in CB lodge way to early....and left before most folks arrived. Passed through the zoo at the base "Food Court" Same food and a massive crowd of folks.

Other Other - When I left the Special Folks parking still had plenty of space. Rest of A had a lot of cars, B lot was completely full? as was C lot? Ouch! Ouch! Powder Day! Drive up early was entertaining in the lowlands. Drive down was very pleasant in the sun and the heated seat I was sitting in. Still fun day, but my cold weather problem is getting sadly worse.
