Crystal - 01/30 The End!

Ski Report- The last morning of big sun...the grooming was not as expansive as when the PSIA was at Xtal, but it was enough for me...Started out with an LS and GVB bumps to GVex run or two...but by 9:30? the world became hyper drive hamster mode skiing GVB baby bump chalk to MIFB (which was getting pretty prime). Pretty much rodent repeats till around 11 when the weather looked to be changing (didn't actually based on the last look at the cams). Went into CB lodge to harass the employees for a very short time...pizza promised was not available - dang it Jackson...oh well. Finished with a run for #1 down Queens to Snowgarden to SlowSilver area...all still very nice since nobody was at Xtal today...lightest crowd of the season that I've noticed.

Other - As noted I passed through CB lodge on the impression, they might have a Special pizza...Chicken with Pesto sauce...didn't happen...oh well, apparently Xtal Food Manager is mellowing to the idea about "weird" pizza's? Went into the "Food Court" at the base as I was leaving and WOW they had a "weird" pizza! What was it? Taco Pizza? Hhhhmmmm....Left over Chicken Finger pieces with lots of different colored peppers...tasted okay...I guess....

Other Other - Special folks parking was mighty empty, rest of A pushed way past 1/4 with a couple of idling buses in the bottom of the lot. B parking did not make it to the Honey Bucket station, everybody in the C lot was parked around the Honey Bucket stop and there were not very many of them....ultra utlra lite crowd. Drive up radically early pleasant, drive down also early was very pleasant at speed. Fun last day of big sun, for hopefully awhile.
