Stevens 1/28 It is getting OLD

On the plus side, another beautiful day in the sunshine with no lift lines. On the minus side, things never did soften up much. It was firmer and more scrappy than last week. The inversion did not mix down far enough to warm up anything other than the very top of the ridges. I am tired of skiing groomers.

But thank goodness for groomers. They were fun enough to make the trip worth it yesterday. We got softening on about the upper half of Aquarius and maybe the upper quarter of Gemini. Otherwise we used east-coast honed skills to sense where the loose snow lay. At least the groomers have been shrinking the size of the chicken heads week-by-week
