I beat ddk 2 days in a row???
Groomers started softer than yesterday and continued to soften as the day went on. Stuff in the shade remained unchanged which meant GV right was still skiing good. Not a lot of off piste exploration again today. Big Shot softened nicely and was fun. But, the run of the day was GV to Ferkberg with an occasional run to the bottom via Deerfly. Ultra light crowd and traffic. Very pleasant drive both ways.

Ski Report - Short version - Yee Haa fun. And PS CD...I write way too many extra words...and we left after you and drove longer and...other excuses? Not! Anyway, my version of a really fun day.
Wordy version....A great day, better weather than expected, light winds, big views, great grooming, ultra-light crowds (like nobody), warm but not to warm, no wind noticed, and I finally got #1 back up to Xtal! Yee Haa! Loaded chair 10 or so of CHex after the mass headed up. REX was on hold to start so it was easier for me (mentally) to go over to FQex with her. Did Queens, which was pleasant and then I and CD, huh? headed over to REX for some high-speed runs. LS, Big Pro Course to MIFB (better than yesterday from the start). Let CD make me ski a few runs in the Valley and out Snortelk way....did a lot of GV Bowl runs which was still mighty fine for my old technique style and wimping quads after three days. #1 showed up, CD went his way (haven't skied with him that much in a very long time and it was very pleasant). Got #1 around up top and she was happy. Few surface rocks in places but Xtal has been doing a great job managing the lack of new snow. Didn't leave till after 1pm? But that was cause of other situations that will be explained in other sections.
Other - I enticed #1 today partially with a eat up top promise (ouch!). We walked in around 11am, got a prime window table looking down GV...and then the wait and wait and wait for mostly good but expensive food (waitress thought I was an employee and gave the 50% discount, so I gave a very big tip and enlightened her about my real Xtal status), but the wait and wait and ouch me!. Didn't do much after that but had a good run down LS and Stump to Skidroad.
Other Other - Special folks parking was massive; rest of A lot was pushing way past 1/3 full...The new parking lot lady (already heard bad comments about her), greifed me about where I was planning to park...and when we left there were cars parked there! hhhhhmmmmm....oh well I got to send an email about overall issues this year's new rules....one of these days - maybe. B lot was kinda full to the Honey Bucket station, C looked like less cars than yesterday. Drive up was almost ultra early and very pleasant, no Elk noticed anywhere today. Drive down was mostly pleasant but had more odd traffic. Another very fun day, especially for #1 who got to ski with LD.
