Crystal - 01/13 Happy Hamster Treadmill Heaven

Ski Report - Greyer and windier than expected early, snow tornados at the top of REX...and it was not really blowing that hard based on the telemetry...but min and sustained winds made it feel pretty cold for my old bones. Started with runs down LS and Baby Pro Course to MIFB, plus one run down to GVex...other than one run down Rolling K after a quick social at CB lodge....my day was rodent heaven....GV Bowl (center line) to MIFB (nice wind blown fluff on the edges) with a few LS runs intermixed....The EXP's were in happy mode today and the quads might finally be getting into bump shape, the crowds were ultra light on REX...the winds seemed to mellow (or change direction), the sun got brighter, the views were big and life was very good. Made a new season day vert record - pretty wimpy compared to Mr Binx, but good for me. Heard from Mr EH that it was doable out there...but only 4 times? He also indicated that PB was pretty good...maybe finally tomorrow for me?

Other - Nothing new at CB lodge, plus no pizza. Ended up at the base and picked up the Pizza special....Looked like pesto sauce with tomatoes and pieces of left over chicken fingers? Almost tasted good...but by the end it was cardboard quality and weird.

Other Other - Special folks lot was pushing full, with one dumb jerk parked stupidly blocking in Mr EH. Rest of A was pushing half fullish, B had lots of typically badly parked rows way past the Porta potty station and C had a bunch of cars. Drive up was early and dark and tense not sure when a slippery spot might be lurking. Drive down was mostly at speed and happy till I got close to the lowlands. Big news is that Ms Kennidi (sp) wiill be officially off the market come Thursday when she gets hitched in T-town...hhhhmmm private social....but I know where! Otherwise, a very happy hamster day and looking forward to more tomorrow with #1 on what sounds to be a very busy $62 Tuesday!
