Ski Report - Telemetry says 38, no real wind, clear sky! Hhhmmm, didnt start that way, high clouds with sun breaks that increased to blue bird by late morning...grooming quality had its moments - mostly good the north facing aspects....south...pretty much ouch early with wimpy legs....but all got better. Fun when I finally did center line GV Bowl! Looked good, looked weird, was muchly happy. #1 started on FQex and said she was not impressed, and we hooked up ultra early, got some runs down LS (skier right very nice), MIFB which kept improving, but when she did it, the mad downhill racers had found it. Snowpack is holding up nicely, the groomers are doing okay (especially Little Portillo). Ultra light crowd for even a Thursday. No lift lines. Happy times. Some nice views.

Other - #1 had a glut free burger at CB lodge....I had my homemade breakfast sandwich...no pizza today (pizza guy day off?). Fairly busy in the lodge.

Other Other - Special folks lot had a lot of space today, rest of A had more cars than expected as did B lot which was many rows past the outhouse shuttle stop, and C had a fair number of cars...so there were a few folks around the mountain. Drive up happy speed, but had some weird slick spots, very nice sun rise this morning. Drive down was sleep control happy in the sun. Twas another fun day!

Yes, weird day. The telemetry really didn't match what was going on with the snow. Everything was icy and anything that stayed in the shade remained icy. The sun came out mid-morning and by 11 sunny aspects had finally softened. KKZ actually got in 2.5 runs down Sunnyside. I wasn't feeling it (or maybe my back was feeling it too much), so stuck with Ferkberg which was much better than the earlier runs
