Ski Report - Big cold blue bird sunny in the Rainier donut hole...snow quality great, few inches new smoke made for soft turns on most slopes...and folks were cutting up pretty much everywhere from what I could see....even EH when I was leaving. Great improvement since the last time I skied two weeks ago - ouch! Saw a lot of folks that I thought would stay away from a holiday week. Crowds were picking up as I bailed.
Other - Will not have a soup report this season since it looks like Vegy Minestrone and Salmon chowder seem to be the options this season both at CB lodge and the base.
Other Other - Special folks parking was big and mostly empty, rest of A almost completely full with wide space between rows....B, C, D, E all full with cars getting parked in F lot and a fair stream of cars on 410 heading up. Noticed a couple elk this morning somewhere....thought I was early, but I was in a pack of cars....that were at least driving at speed...roads in good condition. Visited with Ross Gregg at hospital in the Claw...sadly he is not doing well.
