Ski Report - Twas'nt yesterday which made us very sad. Snowing hard when we arrived and snowing even harder when we left...but it was very wet at the base. Vis was iffy up high on Rex for me...only skied LS off the top which had its moments and had some other not so happy moments. Fair crowd on the slopes with the limited vis and runs. Wind was howling in Windy Pass, but I was surprised to see the upper mt closed with "only" 60mph gusts? when we got home. #1 had some good runs on FQex, but got tired of the downhill racers. We skied an ultra short day sadly, but I got my ultra low minimum runs and vert.
Other - Never went in a lodge today, so no soup report (changed? not likely). Nice that the former Rafters is now open for early pre-opening sitting inside. Heard that CB lodge will now be open early for warming and using the restrooms...thanks to the influx of the South American visa workers.
Other Other - WOW! when we bailed with 3" of heavy wet mush on my truck...and A lot pushing way past 3/4 full...B was full as was C....Ouch! What were the lots like yesterday CD? Drove up a little too late which was sometimes painful...drive down early had its moments also...Based on the forecasts this might have been my last day till after X-Mass, so sad...Plus #1 will be having another B-day and sadly it will not be a ski day once again...such is life. If no more posts from me....Have a great Merry Christmas (or holiday per your beliefs).
