Crystal - 12/10 Normal Weekday Early Season

Ski Report - Big Blue sunny day, warm up top, cold down bottom. Big views as usual this sunny season. Normal weekday crowd vs yesterday's mess. No lift lines heard FQex was stop and go a lot early morning. Grooming a little better today. Skied a couple in GV bowl skier's right side...doable even with ackee old legs. Still ended the day a little too early, but it was much more pleasant than yesterday. Surprised that more folks didn't take advantage of the $62 tix's today! Sunday was Crystals 62nd birthday....and every 2nd Tuesday this season is gonna be a $62 dollar day! Pretty good deal for the casual skiers.

Other - Checked the vibe at CB lodge.... still very not Viby with the grab and go stuff. Base lodge was the new typical...soup station: Mac and Cheese? Salmon chowder, Brisket chili and Vegy Minestrone (for the vegan crowd)...Glut free stuff? Any other kind of soup this season? Ask management! Send an email.... still hearing about folks making comments at Guest Services....Duh....are they really listening about the new normal? Lots of questionable improvements to the processes.

Other Other - Drove up early and left a little later today, nice no traffic, didn't notice any tall rodents (heard one did not survive its encounter with a car on Sunday....and the 7500 participants on the slopes that day). Special folks' lot had lots of space today, rest of A lot was pushing half full, B lot full just past the shuttle stop and C was pretty crammed with cars. Twas the typical fun day.
