Stevens 12/9 Much better

All of the parking lots had lots of cars. I don't know where everybody came from but this was the most crowded Monday I've seen except for vacation times. There were some lift lines, especially early on on Skyline and Hogs but they weren't bad, five minutes or less. There has been 20 inches of snow snow over the weekend and conditions were a lot better than they were last Wednesday. I was able to ski a lot of off piste areas. I even did a run up to Seventh and it was skiable but I didn't come back for seconds. Chief, Tye, Hogs, Seventh and Brooks were open. There were some scrappy spots but they were easily avoided. They were mostly in the center of the groomers. I didn't hit any rocks but I did see some. There's still a lot of little trees and puckerbrush. That makes three beautiful days in the sunshine.
