Crystal 12/03 Big Warm Sun and Ouchy Quads

Ski Report - Another day in the SUN, warmest day yet, big views, pretty good grooming on the groomers we did, ultra-light weekday early season crowd with lots of the regulars...#1 got her first day of the season on brand new skis! She had a great day; I was nicer than normal and skied her first hour on FQex...which was nice and cold...bailed on her when Trista showed up...I finally did a few runs in the Valley and LS...and quickly decided my quads were not reliable enough to ski much more. Hooked up with #1 and her crowd on FQex and both decided we could wimpy out and leave. Truely a no crowd day anywhere...pretty much everything open...if you want to ski it. Great day above the PS muck.

Other - Skied to the base and let #1 check out the new lodge...Got her a glutton free burger and fries. Fairly pleasant with no crowds around. Soup and stuff were the same as the last time I posted info about it.....Asked about Chicken Noodle? Huuuhhh? Gonna be a long winter. Harassed the Alcohol Enforcement Officer? Nice guy!....What? Since covid Xtal has been an alcoholic nirvana....xtal must have got some comments?

Other Other - Drive up (kinda late) and down (typically early) was much more pleasant than yesterday. Special folks parking massive and empty, rest of A pushed 1/3 or so...B full to the shuttle stop, C randomly oddly fullish? And that was pretty much it. And other than my wimpy quads and knee...it was a very awesome day in the sun. Pray for snow this late weekend!
