Crystal - 3/6

Nice drive up at cruise control speed. A very light crowd again. Day started out colder than yesterday, but quickly got warmer as the sun and bluebird skies warmed things. Some of the runs that were good yesterday were less so today. But once again, the groomers were nice. And just when Ferkberg was starting to get scraped down, it softened and remained good. Our last run down it, a group of 6 guys were straight-lining it from the top. Glad they didn't hit anybody because they were hauling. The front side softened enough for several runs down Memorial Forest from the road, and Breakover and Sunnyside from the top. Also, a freshly groomed Sluiceway and Berry patch to a softening scrappy Lower E was worth many repeats.

The drive down was slow until the string of cars passed the vintage pick-up truck going 45mph, then back to cruise control speeds to Enumclaw. The roads up and back were bare dry pavement that didn't get the car dirty. Even a rental or service loaner could make the drive.
