Stevens 2/27 We deserved this one

Today was a really good day. Mostly sunny until about 1 o'clock with lots of quality snow. The snow was a bit to dense and wind packed to be great but it was certainly very good. It was a semi-crowded powder pig day so the untracked was gone in an hour on the main areas but the sneaky areas held up well until we took a break about noon. What groomers we did we're in fine shape. All lifts were open and everywhere had something to offer. There were lift lines especially on Hogs early, but after they got the backside open, everybody went there and the front side was ski on. We did get caught in lift lines especially on Southern Cross right after it opened and on Jupiter, which was our next ride. We got to ski a lot of areas for the first time this year like Pegasus, nooks and crannies in the woods, and Seventh Heaven environs. The tracked crud skied well but it wore us out. We ended up leaving about 2 o'clock when the light started to get flat and the sun had all gone away.
