Whistler 2/27 - nice

Weather was cold and mostly clear until mid afternoon. No crowds today and no lift lines. Headed to Harmony Bowl as soon as it opened. Has that chair always been a 6-pack? (Been a while since we were here last). Got some very nice off-piste skiing, bump runs, and a couple of adrenaline runs off the cornices lookers left of the chair. A fun morning. After lunch, headed up the peak chair just in time for the light to go flat. The entrance was gnarly and couldn’t really see where I was going to land, so skied around and lived to try another day with better visibility. Finished the day back at Blackcomb with some nice runs on Glacier. Pretty easy to pile on the vert here.

The storm that hit western Washington makes its way up here tonight and tomorrow with a foot of snow and high winds forecast. We’re planning a day off tomorrow and will wait for the relative calm on Thursday and Friday.
