It must have been some kind of school holiday this week because there were more people. The lodge was crowded and there were some lift lines here and there, especially on Hogs. It was raining/sleeting/snowing when we got there at 10. It was about 1 inch of new in the parking lot and maybe 3 inches here and there on the mountain. At the bottom of the back side it was pretty much all rain. It did slack off on precipitation as the day went on. The visibility went from pretty darn flat to OK as the day progressed. We did find a few areas of off piste skiing that were acceptable. There are icy spots and a few bare spots on the groomers. Man, I'm ready for a change.

Is there much snow on the back side currently at Stevens? If you had 12-20 Sunday, Sunday night would it be game on or do you think Patrol will keep it shut a while (Lift tower pads etc.)? I am seeing 7 inches plus of moisture next week! Game on.
