Ski Report - It was skiing today...firm groomers that where surprisingly good (LS, GV and FQex runs)...rocks and grit in places (duh!), fairly light crowd for a Friday, but still to many speed demons for #1, lots of kids and ski school classes late morning. Some almost sun, some light flacks of snow falling, dusting new up on the top of the mountain...very ugly conditions around the base area. Its gonna take a couple of feet of new to recover the mess from last weekend....though coverage in the Valley is still very good.
Other - Didn't stop into CB lodge today, ate very nice nachos at the Elk. A lot was halfish full with 5 or more buses in the bottom end, B full past the Honey Bucket station and C had a heck of a lot of cars in it...so there definitely were some folks on the mountain. Drive up a little later than normal and an early drive down where happy at speed. Didn't notice any Elk again today.
