The east winds kept the freezer going. They weren't very strong but it was enough. It was 0° in the parking lot when we pulled in and 9° when we left. You didn't want to have any exposed skin. We ended up doing about five runs and then going in for a warm-up, coming out and taking another five before heading to the bar for a couple and more warm up, then hitting the road. It was a mostly groomer day which was a bit disappointing. We expected chalk and packed powder but it was a bit firm and crunchy which resulted in us skiing a lot of groomers and not a whole lot of off piste. All the lifts were running except for Southern Cross/ Double Diamond which would've been skiable anyway. We tried to spend as much time as possible in the sun which is a bit hard to do with it being so low this time of year. It was still way better than sitting at home.
