The drive up was pretty uneventful. I've certainly seen a lot worse. We arrive shortly after 10 and got a great parking spot. The lift lines were nonexistent to sparse. There are still some ruts, hummucks, and puckerbrush but the ice is buried and it is way better than the last time we were there. There was a reported 19 inches inches of new in the last 24 hours however it was Stevens Pass powder which means a bit thick and heavy, work, and bog you down if you weren't on a steep enough hill. If you augured in it was a lot of work getting yourself back out. It was snowing hard so visibility was challenging, also it was windy but it wasn't all that cold so you didn't freeze to death. The wind and whiteout kept us off of Skyline however Hogs, Bigger Chief and Tye had really fun groomers. The snow on the groomers kept getting better as the day went on with the new snow. We bailed out about 2 o'clock as the wind was picking up and the visibility was getting even worse. It was a bit challenging getting from the pass down to Scenic with the now blizzard like conditions. They ended up closing the pass after we made it out of there. It was a fun day storm skiing
