Whistler Mid Day Report

Pretty good stuff. If you were thinking about it, it’s worth it. Harmony open. No crust. Spring type skiing

Skied out of Creekside from 9-2:30, and had a great groomer time. Max wait was 15
Minutes getting on the Gondola, which was running slow for some reason. 2” new snow kept everything from being icy all day. It was really a spring like kind of day. Temp around 32 and cloudy all day. Harmony was open, but the top was very foggy/whiteout conditions, and just partially groomed. I skied out via Creekside and it wasn’t any worse than usual in early season. Seems like maybe 2 weeks behind average.

I am mostly an off piste skier, so I will get bored with this in a few days, if we don’t get more snow. But for now i just ski my skinnier ski’s and practice short turns and carves, and work my way back into ski shape. Got an easy 20k of groomers mostly skiing with a slower partner - who will soon be faster than me…
