Mt Baker SkiArea

Pass Holders Day: Wife and I slid out of 2A State Championship Town just as the sun was licking the Cascades. As we drove east towards the big I 5 north, we could make out to the far south Rainier as big as ever, a sure sign of a blue bird day. Coffee as we got onto Mt Baker Beltway east. We slipped through Glacier ( Valhalla) in no time at all. Easy dry roads and no Elk. Easy park and booted up in the rig.
Baker skied well today. No rocks, not bad grooming ( non groom looked like not fun) yup they need snow, but hey the lifts are running. I know I know you have been in your up track for a month

Baker has it together. Great vibe from lifts to parking to the patrol interactions with Joe public.
We stopped in Valhalla ( Glacier) on the way home just to poke around, this is a real snow based community. Love the hippie dippie vibe, makes me want to sell everything and just live out of a van, wife said NO!
