A real mixed bag today. The weather was better than expected with high overcast, blue sky breaks, and occasional light snow, but great visibility all day. Crowds were ultra light which was good since Chinook was down until noon. Fortunately, never a line on the gondola after the first few buckets cleared out. Anything sun damaged yesterday was a frozen mess under a couple inches of new snow. The less steep groomers stayed good most of the day unlike Ferkberg. Weird on the first run and then just got bad. Most off-piste was pretty horrible, except some of the north facers on upper mountain. A few of those were pretty good, so they took most of our attention for the day. Also weird, Sluyiceway, Berry Patch and Lower E were fine.
