Today was some kind of school holiday so the early morning lines were big. It took the ski patrol along time to get Tye, Kehrs and the Backside open which added to the lift lines. Things finally started loosening up about 1130. When everything opened up, the lines on the front side went down a whole bunch.
There were 6 inches of nice dry snow, that, plus the new heavy snow they got yesterday, pretty much buried the ice. Most of the untracked was chewed in a flash, but the sneaky spots delivered pretty much all day. Visibility was good. It was cold only on the upper part of Skyline in the wind. I can't tell you much about how the groomers held up because I didn't spend much time on them. It was a very good day in spite of the crowd
