Stevens 2/16, It surprised us

We expected a mediocre day and it surprised us. There were no lift lines and the visibility was pretty darn good all day with only high overcast and the occasional sun break. The groomers were much more edge able than expected and off piste had some pretty nice skiing here and there.  My buddy had lots of fun bombing the groomers.  I probably skied about 70% groomed and 30% bumps.  I didn't do a whole lot of adventuring around.  We ended up skiing a few extra runs cause it was worth it.
