Just back in town and jonesing to ski after Christmas week off, so went up in today's windfest. Gondie was on wind hold from the start, but every other chair (except Gold Hills) was running at full speed, even C6. The south east winds were averaging 40mph at top with gusts to the mid 60's but no issues with the chairs. Snow wasn't bad both groomed and off piste. Problem was visibility and...wind. GV bowl, Powder Bowl, and Campbell Basin socked in, with clearing from the top of Ferkberg down. After we couldn't take the microderm abrasion to our faces anymore, we headed to the relative shelter of FQ. Skied some old favs off-piste over there and had quite a bit of fun. By noon, everyone was done, so made for a quick day. No traffic either way and once off the Blvd, mostly dry roads which made for a nice commute.

Wind, fog, wind, blowing ice, cold, windy. Had to resort to some very old-school lines to find some visibility out of the wind. Sorry, they're now scrapped down to the rain crust now. A missed turn did result in a survey of Bear Pits - What a mess, will be awhile till it fills back in. A hot shower helped re-attach my face, but worth it for some fun lines.
