Drove in clouds and fog the whole way up, pulled into the parking lot, and looked up.  Bluebird skies.  Fog would occasionally roll in around the base of REX, but not very thick.  There was a surprise inch of new snow from early morning that did a nice job refreshing the north facers and made the groomers oh so nice.  And the big news, they groomed Ferkberg which skied great all day.  With warmer temperatures and sun, the front side softened enough for a couple runs and kept the aforementioned Ferkberg very nice.  They still haven't groomed anything back on Snorting Elk.  The trail over to Campbell Basin from the top of C6 is a bumpy, rocky mess and the run not really worth it.  Also, getting into Powder Bowl is is difficult, but very nice once in.  JD has finally kicked his respiratory illness good enough to ski today and made a strong showing.
