Ski Report  - Big day for the big skiers and riders...6 to 8 new light up top that got progressively heaver down the mountain....big negative for me - the foggy low vis morning...ouch!  Just moved me into the wrong side a little to much...hurt my quads from back seat skiing. But getting another day on REX was nice and It was still fun and got better till my early noon departure.  Crowd was building at that time and cause of vis issues some areas looked like a ant highway.  Frozen ice under the new snow.   Got lucky and skied some untracked lines up  top in a secret area...most of the day because of vis was a LS kinda day for me, the one time late morning that I did MIFB it was mashed potato heaven - but at least I could see it.

Other - Arrived ultra early through a massive rain storm till past Greenwater where the Rainier effect slowed it down...Got first place in the bucket line and the line was big by opening at 8:45 (heard from some folks that did a stupid and skied their first run to the base that the line blew up around the whole base lodge and back down the center stairs - ouch! Plus I thought the bucket was running kinda slow a lot).  I got lucky as I was leaving and bumped into no line - what the heck one more bucket ride since the fog seemed to be parting.   Next run to the base and the line was big again.  A lot was full,  C pushing full, B parking past the shuttle stop.  Drive  up and down were  pretty quiet happy.   Crystal got another fair sized crowd for late season, the "big"  pow day probably helped.
