Crystal - 04/01 Happy April Fool's Day in the SUN!

Ski Report - No April Fools in this report...icy nasty groomers off of REX early, but the Valley had nice grooming and by around 10am REX groomers were getting soft enough to be fun.  #1 had fun early on FQex groomers - did a few late morning and early afternoon with her and they were still very pleasant on FQex.  Light crowds.  No lift lines. Lots of sun early and lots of filtered sun as the day progressed....it was very warm and happy sunny when we bailed late afternoon - well 1:30 or so.  Fun day, screamer fast icy runs early and lots of nice soft spring snow mid-day.  We did the Bucket for the second time this season...no lineup and a private bucket was an extra bonus....so we per #1's request had a late lunch at the top (the reason for the bucket ride) ...nice views, good food but too much of it...glad to get that out of the way for the season. #1 had a strong day again skiing fast and all over the place on REX!  Fun day for both of us.

Other - As noted we had lunch at the top, but I did check the soup at CB lodge...Ched Broc and the supreme pizza slices looked pretty good.  3 buses in the A lot, big special folks parking, rest of A lot was permit parking only and maybe half full, Carpool lot typically light on cars, B lot had cars to the shuttle stop, C lot might have been halfish full.   Drive up and down mostly good, only saw a couple of Elk around the ranch area on the way down.
