It looked like this might be the last day for winter skiing so we chanced it.   All the lots were full except for F lot which had about three rows. The lift lines weren't all that bad for a Sunday. We did some judicious bobbing and weaving around the mountain to avoid the worst of it, so the longest line we waited in was probably a bit over five minutes.  We skied all over the place from chair Six to Northway and found pretty good snow,  there was about 2 to 4 inches of new with some blow in, over a fairly soft base in a lot of places.  There were some scrappy places too but if you were clever you could avoid them. The light got a bit flat at times and it started snowing later in the afternoon.  An early lunch break did not help as the Campbell basin lodge was pretty full, so we ended up taking a break on a picnic table outside.  And just for ddk there was a small herd of elk just before Crystal Village.  Beers at the Naches Tavern on the way home.  It was a mighty fine day considering everything.
